Afghan Voice ښgency (AVA) – Kabul: The press office of the National Disaster Preparedness Administration (NDPA) has issued a press release announcing that the Kazakh Ambassador to Kabul, Gaziz Akbasov, has submitted a list of humanitarian aid, including 36 freight wagons transported to Hairatan Port, to Mullah Nuruddin Turabi, the head of the agency.
This aid includes 1,000 tons of flour, 1,200 tons of rice, 1,000 liters of oil and other necessary items, which, according to officials of the National Disaster Preparedness Administration, can have a great impact on meeting the food needs of the Afghan people.
The Kazakh ambassador also announced during the meeting that next week, 3.5 tons of medicine and medical equipment will be transported to Afghanistan through Kabul International Airport.
Mr. Akbasov added that his country will continue to provide assistance to Afghanistan, taking into account humanitarian needs and the requests of the Islamic Emirate.
Meanwhile, Mullah Nuruddin Turabi appreciated Kazakhstan’s humanitarian assistance and called for the continuation of this assistance to resolve the humanitarian crises in Afghanistan.
Experts say that humanitarian assistance from various countries, especially from neighboring and regional countries, demonstrates global solidarity and the importance of paying attention to the humanitarian situation in Afghanistan. The food and medicine sent by Kazakhstan can help reduce humanitarian crises and strengthen Afghanistan’s health systems in the current difficult circumstances.
This assistance is also a point of convergence and international cooperation, which are vital in today’s world to resolve crises and urgent humanitarian needs. While Afghanistan faces numerous economic and humanitarian challenges, continued such assistance can play an effective role in maintaining stability and improving people's living conditions.
