UNRWA, expressing concern over the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza, stated that more than 2.1 million people in the Gaza Strip are trapped, under bombardment and suffering from hunger.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced that food supplies that entered Gaza during the ceasefire have now run out. The international organization warned that we are once again facing the prospect of famine in Gaza.

In a statement announcing the news, UNRWA stressed that the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip is extremely dire and the international community must act immediately to prevent a full-scale humanitarian catastrophe. The international organization called for unhindered access to humanitarian aid and an immediate end to attacks on civilians.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) issued a statement announcing that for the seventh consecutive week, the fascist occupying regime continues to prevent the entry of essential supplies, including medicine, fuel and food, into the Gaza Strip.

The Hamas statement stated that this catastrophic reality is openly imposed by the occupying regime on more than 2.25 million people, who are exposed to targeted killings daily, which is a fundamental element of the planned genocide.
