Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): According to Arab TV and citing the Wall Street Journal, Yemeni forces supported by the UAE are preparing for a massive ground assault against Ansar Allah forces. The attack comes as recent US airstrikes against Yemen have intensified. The aim of the operation, according to the Wall Street Journal, is to control strategic areas on Yemen's western coast, especially the port of Hodeidah, in order to cut off the Ansar Allah movement's important economic artery.
Despite more than 350 US airstrikes against Yemen, these attacks have failed to significantly reduce the military strength of the Ansarullah forces, who continue to carry out operations against US and Israeli interests.
Meanwhile, the Wall Street Journal reported that Saudi Arabia has told the US and its Yemeni allies that it will no longer engage in direct conflict with Ansarullah. This decision was made due to Saudi concerns about the resumption of missile and drone attacks by the Yemeni armed forces against the country.
This approach is considered a significant change in Saudi foreign policy, as the country had previously been at the forefront of military attacks against Yemen.
