Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran: The unveiling and opening screening ceremony of the film "Unwritten", produced, written and directed by Amin Bakhshian, was held by the Iranian Art and Experience Cinema Group last week at the Charso Cinema Campus in Tehran. On the other hand, this film was also screened separately in the presence of Afghan cultural and artistic activists and its writer and director, thanks to Mr. Ataei from the Mam Mehemen Center, at the Palestin Cinema in Tehran.
Amin Bakhshian, the producer, writer and director of this film, thanked the audience for their presence in the hall and said: "It is an honor for me that we will be watching this film together today."
Bakhshian also said in an interview with Ava reporter: The subject of the film "Unwritten" is about illegal immigrants, and in this work, the story of several immigrants and refugees in Afghanistan, Iran and England is followed in separate stories, and different characters are present in each country.
Explaining the narrative of this film, he said: The story of the film "Unwritten" is about people who choose illegal immigration in the hope of achieving a better life, and we tried to narrate this journey from origin to destination in four episodes by different characters from different nationalities.
Referring to the message and content of the film, the director of the film "Unwritten" stated: "The issue of illegal immigrants has become a major crisis for different countries in the world these days, and the conditions of these people have formed the focus of the narratives of this film. The title "Unwritten" also refers to people whose names are not mentioned anywhere and who are going through very difficult conditions."
He added: "We tried to tell the story of illegal immigrants in the form of a drama, and the theme of travel in this film refers to people who are forced to lose many human things in order to achieve a better life."
Reza Bashiri, the film's production manager, also thanked the Honro-e-Gheb Cinema Group for providing the conditions for the screening of this film, adding: "I think the existence of the Honro-e-Gheb Cinema Group is an interesting event in Iranian cinema. The Honro-e-Gheb Cinema Group has provided a space for independent films to be heard and for audiences to watch such works."
The film "Unwritten" written and directed by Amin Bakhshian was filmed in Iran, Greece and England and is a story of characters who are connected by issues of immigration, love and identity. The film will be screened on April 10 at the Iranian Art and Experience Cinema Group.
The film has won various awards by participating in various prestigious international festivals.
The film has so far participated in many festivals such as the Bucharest Film Festival, the British Independent Film Festival, the Zurich Iranian Film Festival, the Heartland Film Festival in the US, the Athens Film and Video Festival, the Woods Hole Film Festival in the US, and the London TMC Film Festival and has won awards.
