Continued Israeli aggression against Lebanon after ceasefire agreement
The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights reported high civilian casualties in Lebanon following repeated violations of the ceasefire by the Israeli regime, which resulted in the martyrdom of 71 civilians, including 14 women and 9 children.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: According to Al-Mayadeen, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights announced that after the implementation of the ceasefire between the Israeli regime and Lebanon last November, the failure of the Israeli regime to observe the ceasefire and its repeated violations resulted in the martyrdom of 71 Lebanese civilians. These attacks have caused fear and concern among the Lebanese people, and more than 92,000 people have fled their homes.
 
“Thamin Khaitan”, spokesman for the UN Commissioner, stated at a press conference in Geneva that the southern suburbs of Beirut have been attacked and for the first time since the ceasefire, two attacks have occurred in two separate incidents around two schools. Khaitan added: Zionist attacks on Lebanon have continued since the implementation of the ceasefire, specifically targeting civilian infrastructure.
 
The violation of the ceasefire by the Zionist occupiers in Lebanon continues through attacks on the southern regions, the Bekaa and the southern suburbs of Beirut, and these occupiers are still present in 5 regions of Lebanon.
 
In the latest aggression by the Zionist regime in the city of Aitron, located in southern Lebanon, one person was martyred and 3 others, including a child, were injured.
