US: Iran
While Iran is set to hold a second round of nuclear talks with the US on Saturday, the US Treasury Secretary warned that Washington is ready to use all its power to reduce Iran's energy exports to zero.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): US officials continue their threats and verbal attacks against Iran. This time, US Treasury Secretary Scott Basnet said after announcing new sanctions against our country that Iran's energy exports must be completely stopped.

The US official, posting a message on the social network X, said: "The Trump administration has made one thing clear. We will apply maximum pressure on Iran and disrupt the oil supply chain and exports of this country that supports "proxies and terrorist partners."

He continued: "Any refinery, company or broker that chooses to buy Iranian oil or facilitate Iranian oil trade is putting itself at serious risk. "We are prepared to take all possible measures to reduce Iran's energy exports to zero, the position they should be, and to protect the security of Americans."

Hours ago, the US Treasury Department announced that the Office of Foreign Assets Control would sanction an independent refinery based in China, Shandong Shengxing Chemical Company, for its role in purchasing more than $1 billion in Iranian crude oil.

The US threats and attacks against Iran continue as the two countries are set to hold their second round of indirect talks in Italy on Saturday.
