Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, announced yesterday evening (Wednesday) the destruction of three Israeli "Merkava 4" tanks over the past 24 hours near Al-Wafa Hospital in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in eastern Gaza City.
Qassam stated that the group's fighters attacked the Israeli Merkava tanks with Yasin 105 rockets.
Israeli media reported on Monday night that two dangerous security incidents occurred in the Gaza Strip, killing and wounding Israeli soldiers.
The Hebrew-language news website Hadshot Bazman reported that a group of Israeli soldiers were surrounded and ambushed after entering a house in the Shuja'iya neighborhood in the eastern Gaza Strip, and that four of the soldiers were wounded in the shooting by Palestinian fighters.
Israeli media also reported a second security incident, this time in Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, and an air operation to evacuate the dead and wounded soldiers of the regime's army.
The Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, previously announced that its fighters had managed to eliminate a Zionist sniper who had gone to the Al-Muntar Hill in the Shuja'iya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City.
