The meeting emphasized the brotherhood and friendship between Afghanistan and Pakistan, mutual interests and historical and long-term trade relations between the two countries.
 
The statement added that the extension of the APTA agreement, transit facilities and prevention of smuggling of goods, Afghanistan's coal exports to Pakistan, 24-hour operation of Torkham port, bilateral trade from Ghulam Khan port, passage of trucks through the territory of the two countries, bank guarantee and arrangement of a comprehensive mechanism were discussed at the meeting. was.
 
The meeting also discussed the issue of refugees in the country by presenting constructive proposals to strengthen trade relations between the two countries, especially the establishment of a joint committee by Pakistan and holding regular meetings of the committee to investigate and resolve trade problems between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
 
It is worth mentioning that yesterday, Nooruddin Azizi, Acting Minister of Industry and Trade, headed a delegation comprising representatives of the Deputy Prime Minister's Economic Department, the Investment Facilitation Directorate of the Department of Affairs, as well as representatives of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Finance, Refugees and Returnees, Transport and Civil Aviation, Agriculture, Water and Production, as well as the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The purpose of the visit is to review and remove barriers to trade, transit and transportation between the two countries, as well as to discuss solutions to challenges related to Afghan refugees living in Pakistan.
