Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)-Kabul: Following the decision of the Supreme Court of Russia to suspend the ban on the activities of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Hojjatoleslam Walmuslimin Seyyed Issa Hosseini Mazari, head of the Tebyan Center for Cultural and Social Activities, issued a message welcoming this decision and calling it a positive step towards strengthening regional and international interactions.
He described this decision as good news for Afghanistan and the Afghans, adding: This action by the Russian Supreme Court will provide the basis for further interaction between the government of this country and the Islamic Emirate and will undoubtedly have a significant impact on all areas of bilateral cooperation, especially in the political, security and economic fields.
According to Hosseini Mazari, some time ago, the Russian Prosecutor General's Office had asked the country's Supreme Court to remove the Islamic Emirate from the list of terrorist organizations so that Russian officials would be able to establish more official and operational relations with Afghanistan; a move that, in his opinion, indicates a change in Moscow's attitude towards Kabul and that country's determination for more active diplomacy in various fields.
The head of the Tebyan Center clarified: The suspension of the ban on the Islamic Emirate's activities by Russia is taking place in a situation where some currents are trying to isolate Afghanistan and block its path of progress. But this important development, as one of the first important achievements of the year 1404 AH, will promise brighter horizons and greater achievements for the country and people of Afghanistan.
