Putin announces two-day ceasefire for Easter in war with Ukraine
Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced a two-day ceasefire in the conflict-torn regions of Ukraine from April 19 to 21 to mark the Christian holiday of Easter. The decision was made to provide an opportunity for religious ceremonies and assistance to civilians.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): According to the details of the news, the ceasefire will start at midnight on Sunday and will last until the end of Monday.

Putin emphasized that the ceasefire was adopted to facilitate the celebration of Easter and also to provide assistance to civilians, while he announced that Russian forces must be ready to counter any possible ceasefire violations and enemy provocations.

Given the importance of Easter for Orthodox Christians, the ceasefire could provide opportunities to reduce tensions and establish temporary peace, but its future depends on the actions of the parties and their observance of the ceasefire.
