Following widespread complaints by Afghan refugees about mistreatment by Pakistani forces during deportation, Islamabad has announced that it has set up a special center to handle these complaints. This step was taken after the recent visit of the Pakistani Foreign Minister to Kabul.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Mohammad Sadiq, Pakistan’s special representative for Afghanistan, has announced that the country has set up a ‘Federal Control Room’ to handle the problems and complaints of Afghan refugees upon their return to the country.

On Sunday night, 31 Hasl, he wrote on his X account that this decision was taken after the visit of Pakistani Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar to Kabul.

According to Sadiq, the center will specifically handle the complaints of refugees who complain of harassment or looting of their property by the Pakistani police upon their return to Afghanistan.

He has also published the contact numbers of the center.

According to the new decision of the Pakistani government, the deportation of illegal immigrants has been ongoing since April 1. So far, more than 84,000 illegal Afghan immigrants have been deported from Pakistan.

Most of these immigrants have reported harsh and inhumane treatment by Pakistani security forces during their deportation.
