Afghanistan’s readiness to expand relations with Kazakhstan/The country should facilitate visa issuance for Afghans
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that the acting minister of the ministry, in a meeting with the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, stated that the Islamic Emirate wishes to further expand relations with Kazakhstan in the political, transport and transit sectors, and asked them to facilitate visa issuance for Afghans. On the other hand, the Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan considered Afghanistan an important and inseparable partner of this country in the region.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a press release saying that Maulvi Amir Khan Mottaqi, acting minister of the ministry, and Serik Zhumangarin, Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, met in Kabul.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that bilateral political and economic relations, especially investment, trade, transit and transport, were discussed in this meeting.

In this meeting, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs stated that the Islamic Emirate wishes to further expand relations with Kazakhstan in the political, transport and transit sectors, and asked them to facilitate the issuance of visas for Afghans.

Mr. Muttaqi also called Kazakhstan’s investment in the railway sector in the country useful and expressed hope that the two countries could play an effective role in regional connectivity.

Meanwhile, Mr. Zhumangarin called Afghanistan an important and inseparable partner of Kazakhstan in the region and added that his country has always maintained its relations with Afghanistan in political and economic fields.

The Kazakh Prime Minister stated that the purpose of his visit to Afghanistan was to participate in the Kazakh goods exhibition in Kabul and discuss the $500 million investment in the Turgandi-Herat railway.
