Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Mazar-e-Sharif: Maulvi Sher Ali Haider, director of the crime fighting department of the Samangan provincial police command, announced that 1,166 people were arrested following 686 detective and military operations by the police forces. He added that these people were arrested on charges of robbery, murder, moral corruption, gambling, running away from home, fraud and drug trafficking.
He also stated that 625 others were arrested for committing crimes such as verbal conflicts, family disputes and other incidents and that the files of all the suspects have been submitted to the justice and judicial institutions for legal proceedings.
It is worth noting that the citizens of Aibak city, the capital of Samangan province, have expressed their satisfaction with the efforts and measures of the police forces and are calling on the government to prioritize ensuring the safety of citizens' lives and livelihoods.
