Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Government Information and Media Center held a coordination meeting of domestic and foreign, private and government media officials and media support institutions at the center with the presence of a number of media officials, including Hojjat-ul-Islam Wal-Muslimeen Sayed Isa Hosseini Mazari, Director General of Afghan Voice Agency (AVA), and his accompanying delegation.
At the beginning of the meeting, Heshmatullah Naseri, Deputy Director of the Government Information and Media Center, welcomed the participants and provided complete information about the goals and objectives of the meeting.
Naseri said: The Government Information and Media Center has always tried to improve the level of cooperation and coordination between government departments and the media in the field of information and to find solutions to jointly solve existing problems in this field.
Then, Maulvi Naeem-ul-Haq Haqqani Herati, Head of the Government Information and Media Center, in his speech, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the continuous cooperation of the media and media supporting institutions with this center.
Maulvi Haqqani said: The Government Information and Media Center has always tried to develop and strengthen the level of cooperation and interaction between the media and institutions as a bridge between domestic and foreign media, media supporting institutions and government departments.
He added that the purpose of today's meeting is to increase the level of cooperation between the media and government departments in the field of access to information and exchange views and suggestions to address some of the existing problems in this area.
According to the head of the Government Information and Media Center, the higher the level of cooperation and mutual coordination between the media and the Emirati departments, the better and more positive the results will be.
Subsequently, media officials and media supporting institutions also spoke in turn and considered holding such meetings necessary and important to expand cooperation between the media and government departments and appreciated the efforts and activities of the Media Center.
Also, in their speeches, they referred to some existing problems in the field of access to information and financial and economic issues of the media and shared their suggestions and views to address these problems with the leadership of the Media Center.
At the end of the meeting, Mawlavi Haqqani assured media officials and media supporting institutions of full cooperation in related fields.
It is worth noting that last year, the Government Information and Media Center made serious efforts to facilitate access to information by holding coordination meetings between media officials and government officials.
