Israeli army's brutal bombardment of Gaza; 12 Palestinians martyred

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): On the 37th day of the new wave of attacks on the Gaza Strip, Palestinian sources released images of the devastation caused at the "Dirrah" Children's Hospital in the "Al-Taffah" neighborhood in eastern Gaza City after it was shelled by the Israeli army's artillery.

 

At the same time, Al-Aqsa TV announced that the occupying forces began demolishing houses in the eastern neighborhoods of Gaza City. The Palestinian media outlet also reported heavy air and artillery attacks and the firing of tanks by the occupying forces on eastern areas of Gaza City.

 

Palestinian hospital sources reported that a number of Gaza residents were injured during the Israeli army's artillery attacks on refugee tents in the town of Bani Suhayla, east of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.

 

Al Jazeera's correspondent also reported the destruction of Palestinian homes in Rafah, southern Gaza Strip, and the Israeli drone attack on the Jaffa School in the Al-Dreej neighborhood in Gaza City, where refugees were staying. At least 10 people were killed and several others were injured as a result of the attack.

 

Palestinian media reported that following the Israeli army's attack on the Jaffa School, a severe fire broke out, and the refugees called for the immediate dispatch of an ambulance and fire brigade to put out the fire. At the same time, the Gaza Strip's Civil Defense Forces, citing the severity of the attacks on Gaza City, reported their inability to respond to calls for assistance and noted the efforts of the fire brigade to put out the fire at the Jaffa School.

 

News sources reported that explosions were heard in various areas of Gaza City due to the heavy bombardment by the Zionist regime and that a number of Palestinians were injured as a result of the attacks by the Zionist regime.

 

Meanwhile, Al-Aqsa TV reported an airstrike on the town of "Jabalia Al-Balad" in the north of the Gaza Strip, which resulted in a number of martyrs and injuries.

 

The Unews news agency announced that at least 12 people were martyred and dozens of others were injured in the airstrikes and artillery attacks by the Zionist regime on various areas of the Gaza Strip since the morning of this Wednesday.

 

With the continuation of the Zionist regime's military aggression against the Gaza Strip, the total number of martyrs in this region since October 7, 2023 has reached 51,266 people and the number of injured has reached 116,991 people.

 

On October 7, 2023, the Zionist regime launched a war against the Gaza Strip with two main goals: to destroy the Hamas movement and return the Zionist prisoners from this region, but it failed to achieve these goals and was forced to reach an agreement with the Hamas movement to exchange prisoners.

 

On January 19, 2025, based on an agreement between Hamas and the Israeli regime, a ceasefire was established in the Gaza Strip, and a number of prisoners were exchanged. However, the Israeli regime refused to enter into the second phase of the ceasefire negotiations and resumed its military aggression against the Gaza Strip on the morning of Tuesday, 28 March 1403, in violation of the terms of the ceasefire.
