Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) – Kabul: According to a press release issued by the ministry’s press office, Maulvi Noor Jalal Jalali, acting minister of public health, met and discussed with Maulvi Asadullah Bilal Karimi, ambassador of the Islamic Emirate in Beijing, on Wednesday.
In this meeting, the two sides exchanged views on various issues, including improving the level of coordination in health projects, equipping and developing medical centers, and participating in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit that will soon be held in China.
In this meeting, Maulvi Asadullah Bilal Karimi provided details regarding medical aid, health development projects, and technical support from the People’s Republic of China to the Afghan Ministry of Public Health. He also announced the readiness of the Afghan Embassy to facilitate cooperation in this sector.
The Acting Minister of Public Health, appreciating China’s cooperation in the field of health, emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral relations, especially in the current conditions of Afghanistan, and called for the continuation and expansion of this support.
According to experts, increasing interactions between the government institutions of Afghanistan and the People’s Republic of China, especially in the health sector, can help improve the country’s medical situation and citizens’ better access to medical services. At the same time, Afghanistan’s active participation in the Shanghai Summit provides an important opportunity to attract regional cooperation and rebuild Afghanistan’s health system. These measures can also be a basis for Kabul’s further integration with Asian economic and political structures.
