Sirajuddin Haqqani meets with Russian Special Representative on security cooperation between Kabul and Moscow

Acting Interior Minister Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani met with Russian President's Special Representative for Afghanistan Zamir Kabulov and Russian Ambassador to Kabul Dmitry Zhirnov to discuss security cooperation between the two countries.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Acting Interior Minister Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani met with Russian President's Special Representative Zamir Kabulov and Russian Ambassador to Kabul Dmitry Zhirnov.

The two sides discussed security, economic and trade cooperation between Afghanistan and the region and strengthening relations between the two countries, Interior Ministry spokesman Mufti Abdul Matin Qane said.

Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani has appreciated Moscow's recent actions towards Afghanistan and called it an important step towards accepting the political realities of Afghanistan.
