Herat on the verge of industrial transformation; creation of a special zone for small industries and a large industrial city

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)-Herat: In line with the development of economic infrastructure and with the support of the Leader of the Islamic Emirate for small industries, the Herat Chamber of Industries and Mines announced the completion of planning to establish a special industrial zone with an area of ​​one thousand acres of land for small industries in the west of Herat city.

 

Hamidullah Khadem, head of the Herat Chamber of Industries and Mines, announced this news that the process of distributing these lands will begin soon and this measure is considered a positive step towards supporting small jobs in the country.

 

Khadem also announced the creation of an industrial city with an area of ​​nearly 50,000 acres of land in the Herat Industrial City, and stated: "This project is intended to establish large factories and distribute land to investors, which will bring about a fundamental change." Emphasizing the importance of these projects, he considered the distribution of land in the Herat Industrial City a unique opportunity for investors.

 

These developments are taking place while, according to local officials and the Herat Chamber of Industries and Mines, the number of factories and industries in the Herat Industrial City has increased from 600 to more than 1,000 in the last three years, indicating a significant leap in investment and job creation in the province.
