Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): This morning (Saturday, April 26), the Israeli army announced that a missile was fired from Yemen towards the occupied territories and that the regime’s air defense systems are trying to intercept it.
Following this incident, warning sirens sounded in southern Israel.
The Israeli army reported that early warnings have also been activated in wider areas, including the center of occupied Palestine, the Jerusalem area and West Bank settlements, so that residents of these areas can take the necessary precautions.
The Israeli army claimed in a statement that it had successfully intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile.
The shooting comes as tensions between the Israeli regime and resistance groups, including Yemen's Ansarullah, have escalated in recent months. The Yemenis have previously announced that they will continue their attacks until Israel stops its operations in Gaza.
