In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The painful incident of fire in Shahid Rajaee Port is a cause for sorrow and concern.
Security and judicial officials are obliged to fully investigate and uncover any negligence or intent and pursue it in accordance with regulations.
All officials must consider themselves obliged to prevent bitter and damaging incidents.
I ask for God's mercy and forgiveness for the victims, patience and serenity for their bereaved families, and a speedy recovery for those injured in this tragic incident. I sincerely thank the long-suffering people who were ready to donate blood to the injured in their moment of need.

This is while, according to the Minister of Interior of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the number of deaths in this incident has increased to 40 people and there is a possibility that this number will increase. The number of injured has also reached more than a thousand, of whom 170 are hospitalized and are not in good condition.
This tragic incident has faced widespread international reactions, including in Afghanistan.
