Amir Khan Muttaqi meets with Qatari Prime Minister; Emphasis on bilateral cooperation to help Afghanistan

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani and Afghan Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi discussed "the current situation in Afghanistan and how Qatar can support Afghans," the Qatari Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

 

According to the statement, the Qatari prime minister and foreign minister said that Doha will continue to support all sections of the people in Afghanistan.

 

Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani also said that Qatar supports peace, security, prosperity and dignified life in Afghanistan.

 

The meeting discussed the latest political and humanitarian developments in Afghanistan and the sides stressed the importance of increasing bilateral cooperation to support the Afghan people.

 

During the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani stressed the continued and comprehensive support of the Qatari government to all sections of the Afghan people and stressed the continuation of Qatar's efforts to ensure security, stability, prosperity and providing a dignified life for the people of Afghanistan.
