350 Returnee Students Take Level Determination Exam in Kabul
The Kabul Education Department has prepared the ground for the participation of 350 students returning to Afghanistan from neighboring countries by holding the second round of the level determination exam. Officials say that these students will be introduced and recruited to their desired schools after passing these exams, and this process will continue.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Kabul Education Department today (Tuesday, April 28) held the second round of the level determination exam for 350 students returning from Iran, Pakistan, and Turkey to evaluate their academic level and introduce these students to their desired schools.
 
Abdul Basit Haqqani, Head of the Kabul Education Department, referring to the ministry’s commitment to providing educational opportunities for returnees, stated that these students will be given a level determination exam today and after passing this exam, they will be introduced to their schools.
 
According to Haqqani, seven rounds of level determination exams were held for returnees last year, in which a total of about three thousand returnee students participated.
 
He also emphasized that education officials in the capital and provinces must fulfill their responsibilities towards the system and the people seriously and provide a better education for the children of the country.
 
The head of the city's education department also stated that after many years, Afghanistan has been liberated from occupation and colonialism and is now free. He emphasized that they are trying to educate the youth by providing modern and religious education and save them from the influence of the enemy's bad propaganda.
 
In a speech emphasizing the importance of education in the country, Maulvi Habibullah Agha, the acting minister of education, said that man is always subject to divine tests and the current world is built on these tests.
 
Referring to the current situation in Afghanistan, he added that after the West's military defeat in Afghanistan, the country's enemies are now using media and propaganda tools to divert public opinion.
 
The acting minister accused the Western media of spreading false news and lies and urged the people and youth not to be deceived by them and not to be influenced by their propaganda and lies.
 
He continued by calling the young generation the future builders of Afghanistan and stated that today's youth are the teachers, architects and rulers of tomorrow in this country. He also added: Now that the opportunity for education has been provided and security is established, we must work harder to escape dependence on foreign countries and stand on our own feet.
 
According to him, the country's development projects are now being implemented by engineers, workers and domestic companies, and no foreign engineers or companies are present.
 
The Acting Minister of Education finally called on the students to take full advantage of the opportunities provided for education and to lead Afghanistan towards progress and development by learning modern and religious sciences.
 
Meanwhile, Mehdi, one of the participants in this exam, says that they returned from Iran and studied up to the eighth grade in that country and now want to continue their studies in Afghanistan.
 
His family, who returned to the country voluntarily, expressed their satisfaction with the Ministry of Education holding the level determination exam and want this process to continue.
 
Pejman Habibi, another participant in the level determination exam, says that they were forcibly expelled from Iran and returned to the country.
 
He studied up to the tenth grade in Iran and today, by participating in this exam, wants to enter the eleventh grade of school in Afghanistan. This student also called on the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to create favorable conditions for education and training for people returning from neighboring countries.
 
It is worth mentioning that this is the second round of level-determination exams for returning students, in which 350 people who returned from Iran, Pakistan, and Turkey participated.
 
It is worth mentioning that 350 people also participated in the first round, making a total of 700 people who participated in these exams and will be introduced to schools after passing this exam.
