Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The press office of the National Olympic, Physical Education and Sports Committee of the country issued a press release saying that in this phase, 185 athletes from all over the country's provinces received technical and specialized volleyball training in two practical and theoretical sections under the supervision of coaches with first-class international licenses.
This training included basic techniques, advanced tactics and team training, and at the end, 45 qualified athletes were selected to participate in the second phase by holding an evaluation test.
The second phase of this training and talent scouting camp is scheduled to be held in Kabul for one and a half weeks among 45 selected athletes with the aim of preparing the athletes to qualify for the country's premier volleyball league and the final selection of 38 players as members of the selected team.
