Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: According to reports, Hungarian airline Wizz Air has suspended all its flights to Tel Aviv until Tuesday morning. French airline Air France has also announced that it has canceled all its flights to the occupied territories for the next 24 hours.
Media sources are also reporting the cancellation of flights by American airline United Airlines to the occupied territories. Several other foreign airlines had previously canceled their flights to the region due to security concerns.
In this regard, some Israeli security sources have acknowledged the incompetence of the regime's air defenses and said that "there is absolutely no air defense."
This morning, the Israeli army announced the firing of a missile from Yemen towards the occupied territories, with reports indicating that several people were injured as a result of the attack. The Hebrew Army Radio, citing a military source, announced that the American THAAD and Israeli Arrow-3 defense systems failed to intercept the Yemeni missile.
On Sunday, Yahya Saree, spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces, issued a statement claiming responsibility for the attack, announcing that this action was taken in response to the continued attacks by the Israeli regime on the Gaza Strip and in support of the Palestinian people. He announced the launch of a hypersonic ballistic missile at Ben Gurion Airport in the occupied Jaffa (Tel Aviv) area, stressing that the missile successfully hit its target, causing the airport to completely shut down for more than an hour.
The spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces also warned that Israeli and American defense systems were unable to intercept the missile, and that more than three million Israeli residents had fled to shelters. He further warned international airlines against continuing to operate at Ben Gurion Airport, stating that the airport was no longer safe for civilian flights.
