Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: US President Donald Trump stated in an interview with NBC on Sunday: I am ready to hear arguments for the peaceful use of Iran's nuclear energy; but the nuclear weapons program must be ended.
The US President continued in this interview: I think I am ready to hear it. They call it civilian energy. But you know, civilian energy often leads to military wars. And we do not want them to have nuclear weapons. It is a very simple deal.
In another part of his interview, Donald Trump added: Peace between Russia and Ukraine may not be achieved, but on the other hand, an agreement may be reached soon. There is a very good chance that the conflict in Ukraine will be resolved. Of course, one day we may decide to walk away from the negotiations to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. Sometimes we get closer to that decision, but then positive things happen.
He then added: "I have been president for eight years and I have not held any formal meetings to set the course for my third term. I look forward to having a great four years and then handing over the presidency to someone, preferably a Republican."
