Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum issued a press release saying that Sheikh Abdul Rahman Qanet, the deputy minister for planning and policy of the ministry, met with a number of Russian investors and representatives of mining companies.
The Ministry of Mines and Petroleum says that Russian investors expressed interest in investing in gold and emerald mines in Afghanistan in this meeting.
Meanwhile, Mr. Qanet welcomed the interest of these investors and assured them of comprehensive cooperation with them.
