Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Hojat-ul-Islam Wal-Muslimin Sayed Isa Hosseini Mazari, the head of the Afghan Voice Agency (AVA), and the accompanying delegation met and discussed with Maulvi Naeem-ul-Haq Haqqani Herati, the head of the Government Media and Information Center, in his office this morning (Monday, 5th of May).
In this meeting, Hosseini Mazari, while appreciating the efforts and effective activities of the Government Media Center in facilitating media access to information and holding coordination meetings, pointed out the improvement in the performance of this institution after the presence of Maulvi Haqqani Herati and called for expanding cooperation with this center.
Stating that AVA is the first private news agency in Afghanistan, he emphasized: “AVA has worked against the American occupiers since the beginning of its activity, and due to its anti-American stance, the Americans, in cooperation with the National Security of the previous government, planned a terrorist attack against the news agency’s headquarters in Kabul, which resulted in the martyrdom and injury of dozens of people.”
The head of Ava News Agency continued that this media outlet has continued its activities in all circumstances and after the establishment of the Islamic Emirate, its activities in order to express the truth have increased. He added: “AVA News Agency has publications in four languages, more than 120 countries receive news from it and we have signed cooperation agreements with about 30 international news agencies.”
Stressing the need for greater coordination among the country’s media community, Hosseini Mazari called for broader interaction between the Government Media Center and Ava News Agency in various fields.
He emphasized: “We believe that only through empathy, cooperation, and coordination can we overcome challenges and lead Afghanistan towards more sustainable stability and progress. Ava News Agency always considers itself at the service of government media institutions and expects the Media Center to play a more effective role in establishing communication and coordination between this news agency and various government institutions.”
On the other hand, Maulvi Naeem-ul-Haq Haqqani Herati, head of the Government Information and Media Center, while welcoming Hojjatoleslam Wal-Muslimin Hosseini Mazari and the accompanying delegation, said that the center is trying to expand cooperation with all media.
Maulvi Haqqani Herati said: “The Media Center is constantly trying to expand the level of cooperation, coordination and interaction between government institutions, the media and their related institutions. In order to achieve its goals in this regard, the center regularly holds joint coordination meetings between the media and spokespersons so that the two sides can directly discuss the challenges in the field of access to information and reflection of achievements and find solutions to solve them.”
He called Ava News Agency one of the country's most reputable and popular media outlets and added: "During the jihad against the American occupiers, we followed AVA News Agency's news because it is a media outlet that tells the truth."
Referring to the enemies' efforts to create division in the country, the head of the government media center said that the Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) can be a herald of unity in Afghanistan and announced the development of cooperation with this media outlet.
He considered the media a bridge between the government and the nation and stated: "Media work is a prophetic mission, and this shows the great importance of the media in society."
He considered Imam Hussein (AS) to be the model of ideology-based governments and said: "Just as Imam Hussein (AS) did not accept humiliation, Islamic governments also do not accept humiliation. "The infidels' hostility towards Iran, Afghanistan, and other Islamic countries is due to the Islamic ideology of these countries, and the people of Afghanistan have always stood up to global arrogance and do not allow foreign countries to intervene."
