Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Arg page on X has published a statement announcing the holding of the 20th cabinet meeting chaired by Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate.
According to the statement, a number of important economic, social and cultural issues were discussed and decided in this meeting.
The statement states that the cabinet meeting tasked a delegation headed by Abdul Qahir, Head of the National Statistics and Information Office, to hold a meeting on the country's population census and evaluate all aspects of the plan prepared in this regard and present its final report to the next cabinet meeting.
The Ministry of Urban Development and Housing was also tasked with expediting matters related to the construction plan and visa.
The ARG website said that the meeting ended after detailed discussion and decisions on a large number of other issues.
It is worth noting that an accurate census of the country's population has not been conducted so far, and the exact and precise population statistics of Afghanistan are unknown.
