UAE promises extensive cooperation with Afghanistan’s private transport sector
The Ministry of Transport and Aviation has announced that during a recent meeting between the UAE Special Representative for Afghanistan and the acting head of the ministry, emphasis was placed on attracting and absorbing capital and comprehensive cooperation with the private transport sector in Afghanistan.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Ministry of Transport and Aviation announced today (Tuesday, May 6) that Mullah Hamidullah Akhundzada, acting head of the ministry, met with Saif Mohammad Al-Kutbi, the UAE Special Representative for Afghanistan.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed in detail private sector investment in transport and aviation and attracting capital in this area. The UAE Special Representative emphasized that the country is fully prepared for comprehensive cooperation with the Afghan private sector.

The press release adds that the Ministry of Transport and Aviation also announced its commitment to expanding cooperation and creating a more favorable environment for investors in Afghanistan than in the past, and assessed the meeting as useful and effective.
