Deadly Hunger in Gaza; One Meal Every Three Days
As the brutal siege and closure of border crossings by the Zionist regime continues, humanitarian aid has stopped entering the Gaza Strip, and the famine and hunger conditions in the region have reached the verge of disaster.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Following the Zionist regime's action to close border crossings and prevent the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza, which has been ongoing for more than two months, "hundreds of thousands of residents of this strip are eating one meal every two or three days."

Adnan Abu Hasna, spokesman for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), said the above statement, adding: As a result of Israel's deliberate policy of starvation, more than 66,000 children in Gaza are suffering from severe malnutrition.

Abu Hasna stressed: UNRWA will not be part of Israel's plan to bring aid to Gaza, and this plan does not comply with UN standards.

Since March 2, the Zionist regime has closed all crossings in the Gaza Strip to trucks carrying food and medical aid to this strip; which has led to a severe deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the region.

This action by the Zionist regime comes at a time when the people of Gaza, with a population of 2.4 million, are completely dependent on this aid.

So far, the UN and officials from a number of countries in the world have warned of the risk of continuing to close border crossings and preventing humanitarian aid from entering Gaza.

The Zionist regime's security cabinet voted last Sunday evening on an Israeli-American plan to bring humanitarian aid to Gaza through an international fund and private companies.

According to this Zionist plan, the people of the Gaza Strip will be transferred to the south of the Gaza Strip and humanitarian zones will be created there for the distribution of aid.

The brutal war of the Zionist regime against Gaza has so far left more than 171,000 martyrs and wounded, most of whom are women and children. More than 11,000 people have also gone missing during this war.

Simultaneously with the decision of the Netanyahu cabinet to expand military operations in Gaza, Israeli media reported the holding of large-scale demonstrations in occupied Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.

In this regard, Israeli media reported that many reservists announced before receiving the call that they did not intend to serve in the army again and would refuse to participate in the expansion of military operations in the Gaza Strip.

These media reported that "many officers and soldiers announced before receiving the call that they did not intend to serve in the army in the next round of the war due to the fatigue caused by the long months of participation in the war and the impact of military service on their personal lives, education and professional status."

The Haaretz newspaper also reported on Saturday night that the army plans to call up thousands of reservists to expand operations in the Gaza Strip.

Israel's Channel 14 also reported that the army will send out calls to reservists for the fifth time starting October 7, 2023, in preparation for expanding the scope of operations in Gaza.

The network added that the Israeli army plans to call up about 60,000 reservists for military service.

This call by the Israeli army for reservists and expanding military operations comes at a time when the Gaza resistance has dealt crushing blows to the Zionists in recent days, killing and wounding several Israeli soldiers in ambushes.
