Accordingly, he said to reporters at the White House: In my opinion, it is a critical time for Iran. This is the most important period in Iran's history. They have a long history and I hope they make the right decision.
Trump once again repeated the claims of Zionist officials against the Islamic Republic of Iran and claimed: I want Iran not to acquire nuclear weapons. I would like to see a peaceful agreement, a strong peace agreement. They should not have nuclear weapons.
He added: We want Iran to be a great country. Let it be a very successful and wealthy country. They have everything they need. The Iranian people are wonderful. They have huge oil and property resources.
Without referring to decades of hostile US policy towards the Iranian people, Trump claimed: “We don’t want to do anything that will prevent Iran from succeeding, but they cannot have nuclear weapons. And if they decide to go the other way, that would be very, very sad. But we have no choice. They will not have nuclear weapons.”
