Abu Muhammad al-Julani arrives in Paris to meet with French officials
Ahmed al-Shara (former leader of Tahrir al-Sham), head of the so-called Syrian Transitional Authority, arrived in Paris to meet with French officials.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Ahmad al-Shara, leader of Tahrir al-Sham and head of the Syrian interim government, arrived at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris on his first official trip to Europe. He is expected to meet with French government officials during this trip and discuss various issues.

The Syrian presidency announced last February that he had been invited to visit the country by French President Emmanuel Macron.

This comes after an Alawite community in France previously announced that it had filed a lawsuit against Abu Muhammad al-Julani and a number of elements under his command in the country's judicial system.

According to this report, the Paris Prosecutor General announced that he had accepted the complaint against al-Julani on charges of genocide, ethnic cleansing and crimes against humanity in Syria.

The complaint is said to specifically cover crimes committed in coastal cities in Syria between December and March against the country's minorities, especially the Alawites.

It is worth noting that this is Abu Muhammad al-Julani's first trip to Europe since taking power.
