Iranian and Saudi Foreign Ministers Meet in Jeddah; Emphasis on Developing Relations and Reviewing Regional Developments
Seyyed Abbas Araqchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, met with Faisal bin Farhan, Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia in Jeddah at the head of a diplomatic delegation, and the two sides discussed the development of relations and regional developments.

It is said that Araqchi also informed his Saudi counterpart about the latest developments related to the indirect talks between Iran and the United States.
 
The Iranian Foreign Ministry announced that during the meeting in Jeddah and reviewed the status of Iran-Saudi bilateral relations, the parties emphasized the two countries' determination to advance the common goal of the leaders of the two countries to develop relations in all fields.
 
In this meeting, the Iranian Foreign Minister also emphasized the need for the Islamic world to be diligent in confronting threats and challenges, especially in relation to occupied Palestine and stopping the genocide and preventing the colonialist plot to wipe out Palestine.
 
On the other hand, the Saudi Foreign Minister emphasized in this meeting the importance of relations between the two countries and ways to support them in various fields.
 
According to a statement from the Saudi Foreign Ministry, the Saudi and Iranian Foreign Ministers discussed bilateral relations and ways to support them in various fields.
 
It is worth noting that the Iranian Foreign Minister traveled to Saudi Arabia and Qatar before the start of the next round of nuclear negotiations with the United States.
