Humanitarian disaster in Gaza; International organizations warn of Israel bombing aid depot
Three international organizations have once again issued strong warnings about the catastrophic humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, calling for an immediate halt to the attacks by the Israeli army and ensuring unhindered access to humanitarian aid in the besieged region. These warnings come as the Israeli army, in a shocking move, targeted a warehouse carrying humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: The World Health Organization (WHO) issued a statement on Friday that the organization's medical supplies in Gaza are running low and no new aid shipments have entered the region in the past 65 days. The international organization emphasized that there are significant amounts of medical aid ready to be distributed, but in order to deliver them to those in need, it is necessary to immediately open the crossings and lift the blockade on Gaza. The WHO also called for an immediate ceasefire in this critical region.

In this regard, the United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination also expressed deep concern and warned that the continuation of the current situation in Gaza could lead to a full-scale humanitarian catastrophe and expose the people of the region to a serious risk of hunger, infectious diseases and death. The Committee also called for a permanent ceasefire and ensuring immediate and unrestricted access to humanitarian assistance for the residents of Gaza.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) also issued a statement, emphasizing the seriousness of the situation and announcing that for more than nine weeks, the Israeli regime has prevented any aid shipments from entering the Gaza Strip, and as a result, thousands of trucks carrying essential aid have been stopped at the borders. UNRWA also strongly called for the lifting of the blockade of Gaza in order to allow the free entry of humanitarian and medical assistance to save the lives of innocent civilians.

In another worrying development, the Palestinian Information Center reported that despite repeated warnings from international organizations about the catastrophic humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army bombed a food storage facility belonging to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in the Jabalia camp today (Friday). Eyewitnesses reported that thick smoke filled the sky in the area following the attack.

According to initial reports, four Palestinians have been martyred so far in this criminal attack, which is a clear violation of international law. Further details about the identities of the martyrs and the extent of the damage caused are not available.

In November last year, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Minister of War Yoav Gallant on charges of committing war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. In addition, the Zionist regime is also facing charges of genocide at the International Court of Justice, and a case in this regard is being reviewed against the regime.

The bombing of the humanitarian aid warehouse comes at a time when the international community is deeply concerned about the situation of civilians in Gaza and has called for urgent action to alleviate their suffering and establish lasting peace in the region. This action could be recorded as another war crime in the record of the actions of the Zionist regime and increase international pressure on the regime.
