Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Ministry of Industry and Trade announced that more than 30 cooperation agreements were signed at the conference, which was attended by businessmen and representatives of commercial companies from both countries. It was said that the total value of these agreements is estimated to be between $45 and $50 million, which indicates an important step towards strengthening and developing economic cooperation between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan.
According to the press release, 105 Uzbek companies attended the meeting, which reflects the strong interest and desire of Uzbek businessmen to expand trade relations with Afghanistan.
One of the notable points in the conference was the official request to establish a joint regional chamber of commerce. This proposal was put forward by businessmen and economic activists and, if implemented, could play a significant role in facilitating and developing trade and investment between the countries of the region.
The organizers and economic activists have assessed this conference and the signing of trade agreements as promising a bright future for trade and economic cooperation in the region.
