Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: During the meeting, Trump announced Qatar Airways' agreement with Boeing to purchase 160 aircraft worth more than $200 billion, describing it as "the largest order in Boeing's history."
Referring to his talks with the Qatari Emir on Iran, he expressed hope that the issue would be resolved soon. Trump appreciated Qatar's "assistance on the Iran issue" and said, "I feel the issue will be resolved. We will succeed on the Iran issue."
Emphasizing the friendship between Washington and Doha, the US President said, "Qatar is a friend of America. We will stand by Qatar until the end." He also expressed his satisfaction with the "formation of new relations and alliances" in the region, referring to developments in the Middle East.
In this meeting, in addition to the issue of Iran, the two sides also discussed the war in Ukraine and Russia. Also, several bilateral cooperation agreements in various fields were signed between Qatar and the United States.
This trip is taking place at a time when Trump is trying to strengthen his relations with Arab countries in the region and, at the same time, is seeking to find a solution to the Iranian nuclear issue.
Trump traveled to Saudi Arabia yesterday and an arms deal worth $142 billion was signed between Riyadh and Washington.
