Trump: We will build the Golden Dome missile defense system at a cost of $175 billion

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Trump announced during a speech at the White House: "We will issue a historic declaration regarding the missile shield that protects our country, namely the Golden Dome."

 

He continued: "During my election campaign, I promised to build a shield to protect our country's skies against ballistic missiles, and I will do it."

 

According to the TASS news agency, Trump stated in this regard: "The construction of the Golden Dome missile defense system will take about three years, which means it will be completed before the end of my presidency."

 

The US President continued by claiming that the Golden Dome will be able to repel any missile attack, even from space: "The cost of building the Golden Dome is $175 billion."

 

According to the report, Trump went on to claim: "This dome will protect us almost 100% from all missiles, including hypersonic missiles. We are the only ones who will have this advanced technology and everything will be manufactured in the United States."
