Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran: In response to the resolution by the United Kingdom, France and Germany at the Agency, Iranian President Massoud Pezzekian said: "I do not understand how we should accompany them so that they do not mischief and allow the people of this country to stand on their own feet and live independently."
He once again honored the memory of the nuclear martyrs of the Islamic Republic of Iran and emphasized: "We will follow our own path, we will have enrichment and we will not compromise on the current process." Referring to the country's domestic capabilities, the Iranian president added: "We will build the country with these young people, and it is not like if they destroy us with a bomb, all these capabilities are in our minds, and therefore, no matter what they do, we will rebuild it." He also called for unity and putting aside differences to build the country.
Reaction of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran: Construction of the third enrichment site and modification of centrifuges
Mohammad Eslami, Vice President and Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, also reacted on Thursday after the issuance of a political resolution at the International Atomic Energy Agency against Iran's peaceful nuclear program, stating: "The West expects the Iranian nation and government to be silent and arrogantly accuses Iran of not fulfilling its commitments. They say that Iran has failed to comply, but not a single word about this has been mentioned in the Agency's report on Iran."
Emphasizing that "the enrichment industry is in the life of the people and will not disappear," Eslami announced: "We are starting the construction of our third enrichment site in response to the resolution of the Board of Governors." He clarified that "we have built and prepared the location of the third enrichment site, which is a safe place in terms of security, and with the letter we sent to the Agency today, the operation of equipping and installing the machines will begin."
The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran also said: "We are also changing the centrifuge machines at the Fordow site and replacing them with advanced generation machines." These statements indicate Iran's firm stance and countermeasures in response to the pressures and the resolution of the Board of Governors.
