Ukrainian officials have announced that six people were killed and 64 others were injured in the latest Russian drone attacks on Kharkiv, the country's second largest city. The attacks are said to have lasted only nine minutes and nine children were among the injured.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Media have reported that the drone attacks have caused widespread damage. The mayor of Kharkiv said that Moscow targeted the city with 17 drones, which caused fires in 15 buildings.

He added: "The drones directly hit multi-story buildings, private homes, children's playgrounds, companies and public transport."

Local officials also said Russian attacks on energy facilities had caused power outages in two southern Ukrainian provinces, Mykolaiv and Kherson, exposing new dimensions of infrastructure destruction and civilian casualties in the Ukraine war.
