Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Council of Shia Scholars of the country sent a statement to AWA News Agency today (Saturday, June 14), citing a noble verse from Surah Al-Ma’idah, “You will find the most intense hostility of people to those who believe, the Jews and those who associate others with Allah,” describing the nature of the Zionist regime as based on “terror, murder, insecurity, and expansionism from the Nile to the Euphrates.”
According to this council, the Zionist regime has continued its mission of insecurity in the Middle East and killing Muslims, especially the oppressed people of Palestine, without interruption since its establishment.
The Shiite Ulema Council recalled in its statement that after the victory of the Islamic Revolution under the leadership of Imam Khomeini (RA), a call was raised to confront global Zionism, and since then, the Islamic Republic of Iran has been considered the main obstacle to the achievement of the expansionist goals of the regime occupying Jerusalem. For this reason, this regime has a deep enmity with Iran and has repeatedly targeted the territory and diplomatic centers of the Islamic Republic.
The statement referred to the recent military attack by the Zionist regime on the morning of Friday, June 13, in which a number of Iranian scientists, military commanders, and civilians were martyred or injured. This action occurred while the killing of the people of Gaza is still ongoing, and according to the council, this attack is part of the Zionist regime’s terrorist and warmongering scenario against the resistance front.
The country’s Shiite Ulema Council did not consider the recent aggression to be just an attack on an independent country, but rather a step towards insecurity in the entire region and the world. In this regard, the Council has called on the United Nations and the leaders of Islamic and world countries to take serious measures to prevent the continuation of the crimes of the child-killing Zionist regime.
Another part of the statement states that Western countries, especially the United States of America, have played a fundamental and direct role in the recent crimes. According to the Council of Shia Scholars, the Zionist regime cannot carry out such major military actions without the political, financial, and weapons support of the West.
The Council of Shia Scholars, emphasizing the heartfelt support of Muslims and free people of the world for the Islamic Republic of Iran, has announced that the Islamic world must stand united against the aggressions and crimes of the Zionist regime.
At the end of this statement, the Council of Shia Scholars of Afghanistan has expressed its condolences to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, the government, the Muslim nation of this country, and the grieving families for the unjust martyrdom of the martyrs of this attack, and has prayed to God Almighty for a speedy and complete recovery for the injured.
