Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: In a telephone call with Dr. Seyed Abbas Araqchi, the Iranian Foreign Minister, Mawlawi Amir Khan Mottaqi, the acting foreign minister of the Islamic Emirate, strongly condemned the Israeli regime’s airstrikes on the country’s territory, calling them a clear violation of international laws and an attack on Iran’s national sovereignty.
According to the press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maulavi Muttaqi expressed sympathy with the Iranian nation and assured of Afghanistan’s readiness to cooperate in the safe transfer of Iranian pilgrims remaining in Saudi Arabia via Afghanistan.
The Iranian Foreign Minister also appreciated the stance of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and welcomed Kabul's announcement of readiness to facilitate the transfer of Iranian pilgrims.
Mr. Araqchi called Afghanistan a friendly, sympathetic country and a worthy neighbor.
