Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: According to news sources, the new wave of Operation "True Promise 3", which was launched by the Islamic Republic of Iran around 8 pm last night (Monday, 16th of June), targeted large areas of the occupied territories, including Tel Aviv, Beersheba, Ashdod, the Negev and the occupied Golan.
The Israeli army, while confirming the launch of missiles from Iran, announced that its defense systems are intercepting the threats; but field reports show a different reality.
Following last night’s attacks, warning sirens were activated in various areas, but according to Hebrew media, in some cities the warnings were delayed or disrupted, and many citizens were confronted with explosions without prior warning.
The Israeli regime’s Channel 12 television announced that at least 10 missiles were fired at targets deep inside the occupied territories, some of which hit southern areas, including the Negev. One of these missiles fell near the “Navatim” air base, causing a fire.
At the same time, the Israeli warning and defense systems were disrupted. Hebrew-speaking sources have admitted that the missile warning system was interrupted, and as a result, many citizens were surprised. In Tel Aviv in particular, the Zionists heard the sound of explosions without prior warning. On the other hand, Hebrew media have reported that the air defense systems in Tel Aviv “self-attacked”; One of the missiles fired by the interceptor systems crashed immediately after launch.
Meanwhile, the Israeli regime’s strict military and media censorship has also failed to hide the true extent of the casualties. In a report, Leal Keiser, an economic correspondent for the Israeli Kan network, revealed that in just four days since the start of the conflict with Iran, more than 1,500 houses and apartments in the occupied territories have been destroyed. He also said: “The bombings we have witnessed in these past few nights are unprecedented in the entire 619 days of the war in Gaza.”
According to the journalist, the economic cost of these attacks has also been staggering, with hundreds of millions of shekels of damage inflicted on the regime’s economy on Saturday alone. He warned that if the situation continues like this, the damage could exceed 10 billion shekels in the first phase; this is despite the fact that damage to infrastructure and sensitive centers has not yet been included in these estimates.
He concluded: “There are currently only 5.9 billion shekels left in Israel’s emergency reserve fund, and that is rapidly being used up. This situation is bringing us to the brink of an economic-security crisis.”
Simultaneously with the military attack, Iran also launched a massive cyberattack on the regime’s media networks. Israel’s Channel 14 television network went offline moments after the missile strikes began. The strange noise and disruption of the network’s live broadcast raised speculation about a hack or cyberattack.
Overall, last night’s attacks, which were accompanied by the active participation of regional resistance groups such as Yemen, challenged the Israeli regime on several fronts – military, economic, cyber, and media.
While severe news censorship continues in the occupied territories, signs on the ground point to widespread public discontent, citizen panic, and a serious breakdown in trust in warning and defense systems; issues that could have serious political consequences for Tel Aviv.
Following the intensification of Iranian missile and drone attacks deep into the occupied territories, reports have been published of Israeli citizens and nationals fleeing by sea and land.
According to regional sources, a significant number of Israelis in coastal areas have attempted to flee via the Mediterranean coast to Cyprus and other European destinations using private boats and pleasure craft.
Also, some Hebrew-language media outlets have reported settlers attempting to cross border crossings into Jordan amid disruption of alert systems and public panic. These developments are considered a sign of the deteriorating security situation and widespread distrust of the regime’s defense capabilities among its citizens.
