Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein strongly condemned the Israeli regime's military aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran in a phone call with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araqchi on Monday (June 16) and expressed condolences for the martyrdom of a group of Iranian military figures, academics, and ordinary citizens.
This is the second phone conversation between Fuad Hussein and Araqchi after the Zionist regime's aggression against Iran on Friday morning.
Fuad Hussein called for a unified position and efforts by Islamic countries in international forums and at the Organization of Islamic Cooperation level to condemn the Zionist regime's aggression and prevent further insecurity in the region.
The Iranian Foreign Minister, appreciating the principled stance of the Iraqi government, scholars, and senior authorities in explicitly condemning the Zionist regime's aggression, stressed the importance of effective implementation of the provisions of the security agreement between the two countries by all relevant parties.
The Iranian Foreign Minister also emphasized: The Islamic Republic of Iran is determined to defend the Iranian nation against the Zionist regime's aggression, and the defensive operations of the Iranian armed forces will continue with all their might until the regime's aggression is completely stopped.
