Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)-Mashhad: With the arrival of the holy month of Muharram and the beginning of the first decade of mourning for the leader and leader of martyrs, Imam Hussein (AS), the ceremony of the second night of Muharram was held by the office of the Center for Cultural and Social Activities of Tabian Afghanistan in the holy Mashhad with the presence of a group of lovers of the infallibility and purity of the Ahlul Bayt (AS) and an important speech by the Hojjat al-Islam and Muslims, Sayyid Isa Husseini Mazari, in the Husseiniya of Shahid Misbah (RA).
At the beginning of his speech at the ceremony, Hosseini Mazari stated that the purpose of holding Husseini gatherings is to renew the ideals of Imam Hussein (AS), adding: We will achieve this goal when we have built ourselves, purified ourselves, and succeeded in the field of self-development; otherwise, if we are not built in terms of belief, thought, and practice, our claim to be Husseini will not have much color and luster.
The head of the Tabyan Center stated: Therefore, elements can be on the path of Husseini goals and renew their pledge and allegiance to the ideals of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) if they are believers, are not caught in sin and disobedience, and if they have committed sin and disobedience, seek forgiveness and repent and return.
Reciting the verse “So I said, ‘Seek forgiveness from your Lord, for He is Oft-Forgiving’” from Surah Nuh, he said: Surah Nuh, verses 10 to 12, talks about seeking forgiveness. Indeed, according to the verses of the Quran and the narrations of the infallible Imams (peace be upon them), sin and disobedience have very negative effects on human life. Many of the troubles, dilemmas and problems of life are due to the sins and disobedience that humans commit.
Emphasizing the effects of sins, he added: The effects of sins are listed in the verses of the Quran; but in summary, there are a few things: The first effect is the descent of divine calamity and punishment on the individual or individuals who are caught in sin and disobedience, as well as the society that is in such a situation. The second effect is the darkness of the heart. Certainly, if the heart becomes dark and is not bright and there is no divine light in it, numerous problems will arise.
Hosseini Mazari continued: The third effect is the loss of blessings; sinful people lose various blessings, including the blessing of health, the blessing of children, the blessing of sustenance and livelihood, and the various blessings that man has in this world. The fourth effect is distance from divine mercy, and the fifth effect is a change in destiny and ultimately appearing on earth as a corrupter; that is, a sinful person ultimately causes corruption on the surface of the earth.
The head of the Tabyan Center clarified: These are the effects of sins in the verses of the Quran that should be paid attention to by all of us.
Hosseini Mazari said: The effects of sins have also been mentioned in the narrations, which include several cases. First, it is the weakening of faith and the loss of enlightenment. Religious, prayerful and religious people are elements of light; even if they are not very beautiful in appearance and appearance, do not have a long nose or are not tall, but no matter what their appearance is, they are bright and when you look at them, you feel that these are religious and attractive people.
The head of the Tabyan Center stated: Another effect of sin in narrations is hardship in life, and deprivation of intercession is also considered another effect of sin. In addition, a sinful person is always cursed by God, which in itself places a heavy burden on human life.
He added: We have various narrations that say that a high percentage of deaths and deaths, that is, more than 50 percent and some narrations even up to 80 percent, are not due to natural death; Rather, it is due to sins and transgressions that have caused a person's life to be shortened and he passes away.
He continued: Another effect of sin in the narrations is the failure to answer prayers. No matter how much a sinner prays, goes to the shrine, or prays during the night or day, it is of no use; his prayers are not likely to be answered. And another important effect of sin is that it causes calamity.
Hosseini Mazari added: You can search and study the effects of sins and see how much our lives as humans are affected by sins and transgressions. That is why God Almighty says: "Astaghfirullahu Rabbkumu." If you want your life to improve, if you want to be close to God, if you want to be honorable and powerful, and if the hardships, difficulties, and effects of sins are removed from your life path, ask for forgiveness. God will also forgive, "He is Oft-Forgiving," and an opening will be provided for your hereafter.
Emphasizing the mercy and divine help after seeking forgiveness, he said: It is interesting that after seeking forgiveness and repentance, God Almighty says: “He sends down rain from the sky upon you, and He provides you with wealth and sons, and He makes for you gardens and rivers.” If you seek forgiveness, God will help you, rain will fall abundantly from the sky, and rivers will flow, gardens will be established, abundant crops will be cultivated, and He will give you abundant wealth, and He will provide you with many children to be your helpers.
The head of the Tabyan Center clarified: Seeking forgiveness in a woman
Prayer is very effective and God Almighty has a verse about asking for forgiveness in the Holy Quran approximately 68 times directly or indirectly and tries to do something to guide people and improve their lives by raising this issue and provide a path for people to be saved from the hardships and difficulties of life.
Hosseini Mazari said: In this regard, I have written down various verses, but due to lack of time, it is not possible to address all of these verses. For example, the verse “And if the people of the towns had believed and feared Allah, We would have opened for them blessings from the sky” is one of these verses. Also, the verse “Corruption has appeared on land and sea because of what the hands of mankind have earned” states that problems and corruption on land and sea have arisen because of people’s actions and deeds.
The head of the Tabyan Center stated: In Surah Nuh, the topic of seeking forgiveness is raised three times; from the beginning of Surah Nuh to verse 10, seeking forgiveness is mentioned three times: in verse 3, “He will forgive you,” in verse 7, “I called them to forgive them,” and in verse 10, “Seek forgiveness from your Lord.” This shows how important seeking forgiveness is and how much emphasis is placed on it in the Quran.
Referring to the importance of self-improvement, he said: Therefore, we must work in the field of self-improvement and self-reflection and prepare ourselves to achieve the goals of holding mourning ceremonies and renewing with the ideals and goals of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
Stating that the nights of Muharram are very suitable nights for us to strive in this direction, he said: Let us try to participate in mourning gatherings and gatherings; on the one hand, benefit from the sermons and talks of the speakers, and on the other hand, turn to the infallible Imams (peace be upon them) and Imam Hussein himself (peace be upon him) to guide us, help us, and grant us success so that we stay on this path and that the end of our lives be on this path and that we die with this school, religion, and thought.
Hosseini Mazari added: Certainly, if we are believers, we will attain the status of martyrdom. The issue of martyrdom does not necessarily mean fighting on the front against the enemy; it has its own special conditions. But if a person is a believer, religious, and a follower of the school and is on the path of divine goals, even if he dies under the covers, he is a martyr and can achieve the status of a martyr.
The head of the Tabyan Center emphasized: "Brothers! At least to solve our own problems and to solve our problems, we must first try not to go towards corruption and sins, and if, God forbid, we slip and make a mistake, we should ask for forgiveness and repent."
He added: Especially in the current situation when we have so many problems and problems; in the Afghan society and in Iran, in the field of immigration and with all these conflicts and controversies, these can be solved with our prayers, supplication, intercession, trust and self-improvement.
Emphasizing the need for seeking forgiveness, Hosseini Mazari said: "So we must constantly seek forgiveness and repent from the sins and transgressions we have committed so that God Almighty can remove our problems and dilemmas." Hosseini Mazari stated that he is interested in talking about refugees, although he has repeatedly decided not to address this issue. He said: "When I see the current situation, I think that if I don't say anything, if I don't talk and don't do anything, maybe God will take us by the throat on the Day of Judgment and we will face problems." Therefore, I will raise some points regarding the issue of refugees. The head of the Tabyan Center stated: "These days, the expulsion of unauthorized citizens is being carried out very seriously in Iran, and according to Afghan media reports, last week, nearly 100,000 refugees were expelled from the Islamic Republic of Iran and entered Afghanistan. Naturally, this issue is problematic for Afghanistan." When tens of thousands of migrants leave Iran at once and return to the country, it creates problems and dilemmas for both the migrants themselves and the Afghan government and people there, which is very upsetting.
Emphasizing his opposition to migration, he added: "I have always said many times that I am not in favor of migration. I have said in various speeches inside Afghanistan that people should not migrate. What is the purpose of migration?! A country is not a hotel where if it does not provide good services, we can move from one hotel to another! If there are no problems and dilemmas, there is no need to migrate."
He continued: "Yes, there is unemployment, there is underemployment, there are various problems in Afghanistan, but we must stay and work in our country to build the country, work hard and maintain our position. If we are not there, others will take our place. It is not that if we are not there, Afghanistan will disappear and everything will be ruined; no! More than 30 million, or nearly 40 million people live in Afghanistan and earn their living in some way.
Hosseini Mazari added: Therefore, I believe that migration should not take place from now on, of course it should not have taken place in the past, especially after the victory of the jihad, although unfortunately our mujahideen in Afghanistan could not manage the situation and conditions properly and the situation deteriorated. But in the current situation, migration is not very profitable.
The head of the Tebyan Center clarified: We do not agree with migration and if individuals or groups enter Iran, they should not stay. We do not agree with the accumulation of migrants in Iran to stay here.
The head of the Tebyan Center stated: I believe that even those who have a valid residence permit and do not have security problems inside Afghanistan and have work opportunities should return to their country. In any case, Iran is not our country; perhaps more than forty years have passed since our migrants emigrated, but during this time the migrant has not been able to do anything for himself.
He has not been able to buy a car or register anything in his own name.
Pointing out that we should now ignore whether the law of the Islamic Republic of Iran in this regard is good or bad, useful or not, he added: This is a separate discussion that we have raised many times in various meetings and have also talked about it with the officials of the Islamic Republic and have expressed our views seriously. In any case, if these people do not have a security problem in Afghanistan, they should return to their country.
He continued: Even people who have problems in Afghanistan should pay attention that Afghanistan is our country, our state, our soil and our home; and under no circumstances should we forget our country. Therefore, those who have problems in Afghanistan and cannot return and are here should transfer at least part of their work and activities to Afghanistan. They may be working and living here themselves, but Afghanistan should not be forgotten.
The head of the Tebyan Center said: The second point is that we are not against the principle of expelling illegal nationals, Iran should expel immigrants who do not have documents, those who are unauthorized and who are in any case violators. We have never opposed the Islamic Republic from the beginning not to expel these people; this is definitely their country and they have the right to take action to ensure the security of their country and to expel those who are unauthorized; this is not an issue that we want to oppose.
Hosseini Mazari added: But the proposal I have to the Islamic Republic of Iran is a few points: First, deportation in such a mass manner is not appropriate at all; in a way that they arrest every immigrant in every alley, every street and every square, it is not right. Deporting one hundred thousand immigrants in one week is really too much.
The head of the Tebyan Center stated: "We do not approve or support this mass deportation under any circumstances, and we are not happy with the performance of the Iranian authorities in this regard. Rather, we are very upset that the arrests are being carried out in bulk, in such a way that even the bus is not enough to transport the deportees and they have to wait. In addition, the immigrant must pay a lot of money to be deported, including car rental money and other expenses, which is completely wrong and creates a negative mentality for our immigrants and the people of Afghanistan.
Hosseini Mazari said: "The Islamic Republic of Iran is a country that we love and its system is respected by us." Referring to the widespread support of the people and institutions of Afghanistan in the 12-day war, he added: "From the Afghan government to the people, real and legal figures, institutions, organizations and parties, everyone stepped up and supported the Islamic Republic of Iran."
The head of the Tebyan Center stated: Even the immigrants who are present in Iran and are considered unauthorized by some Iranian institutions, were praying and begging for the Islamic Republic system to not be harmed and to win. Noting that the people of Afghanistan support the Islamic Republic of Iran system, he said: The Afghan government also has very good and favorable relations with the Islamic Republic.
Emphasizing the protest of the Afghan Foreign Ministry’s representative in Herat against the process of expelling immigrants, he added: In addition to creating problems for the immigrants themselves, these expulsions also create many problems for Afghanistan and the people there, which is very upsetting and negatively affects the services of the Islamic Republic for more than forty years.
He continued: Although we support the system and love the Islamic Republic of Iran, we truly do not approve of this expulsion process. The head of the Tebyan Center stated: The deportation should be carried out gradually and calmly so that the immigrants who are here are given the opportunity to settle their accounts, get their mortgage money, and receive their demands from their factory owners or employers.
Hosseini Mazari said: Our other suggestion to the Islamic Republic of Iran is to try to ensure that the arrests are carried out with human dignity. Pointing out that it is fully aware of how immigrants are arrested and how much they are harassed, he added: It does not even matter whether the person is undocumented or documented; even those who have a valid passport, residence permit, or visa have sometimes been rejected at the border.
Emphasizing this advice to his Iranian brothers, he noted: The arrests should be carried out with full respect for human dignity, because this is in your own interest, in the interest of our people, and in the interest of relations between the two nations and the two systems. He continued: “The current trend that has caused resentment among the migrants and their families is detrimental to the system, to the revolution, and to all of us, including the value forces in Afghanistan, and this situation is very distressing.”
The head of the Tebyan Center emphasized: “Relevant institutions must seriously observe human dignity when detaining migrants.” He added: “Our other suggestion is that those who are allowed to do so should be provided with appropriate facilities in Iran to minimize their problems.”
Hosseini Mazari said: “For example, I have personally experienced that a First Mobile SIM card took more than two weeks to activate, and my permanent Irancell SIM card was disconnected twice and I had to go back to the office.” He added that if such problems were to happen to him, he would add: “What will be the situation of the other migrants?”
Referring to the need to provide easy and suitable conditions for authorized immigrants, he said: "Whether in the field of education and training, so that they can easily study and enter university, or in the field of business, so that the necessary opportunities are provided for them and are taken into consideration." Hosseini Mazari said: "Immigrant businessmen and guilds are facing serious problems, and the discussion of banning immigrant businessmen from working within a three-kilometer radius of the Razavi Shrine is truly unacceptable."
Pointing out that he had spoken about this last year and recently reiterated it, he added: “The ban on employment around the shrine should be reconsidered.”
The head of the Tabyan Center said: “There is a similar plan in Qom, but there has been no noise or inconvenience, and the separation has been done well. Those who have a long history and are well-known, and there is not even a single gray area in their performance, can continue their business comfortably, and those who have just entered or have security issues have been asked to leave.”
Pointing out that it would be better to implement the same procedure in Mashhad, he said: “There should be separation, and someone who has spent, for example, forty years of their capital and resources around the shrine and has a shop should not be forcibly moved three kilometers away from the shrine, because this distance is practically outside the city.”
He emphasized this point and noted: Such a migrant will no longer stay in Mashhad, he will collect his money and capital and go to another country. In this situation, both the Iranian economic cycle will suffer and we, who lose our wealthy investors, will leave the Islamic Republic and go abroad.
He continued: The migrant businessmen and capitalists whose money and capital remain here will also help other migrants, provide financial support to charitable institutions and do other good deeds inside Afghanistan; therefore, serious attention and measures should be taken in this regard.
The head of the Tebyan Center stated: Facilities must be created for our investors and traders, otherwise our migrants will truly live here with anxiety and worry, which will not lead to growth and will cause the people, society and country to regress and lag behind.
He added: “The capacity of this immigrant should have been used and exploited in a desirable way to support the system, revolution, and discourse of the Islamic Revolution for 40 years, but it was not, and today, unfortunately, we are faced with such challenges and problems.”
Hosseini Mazari said: “Of course, we give the Islamic Republic its due because it has problems, there are sanctions, and there are various dilemmas and threats; but we reiterate that we are also with you in the face of these threats and problems and are ready to fight to support this system and keep it afloat on any front.”
Referring to his readiness and that of thousands of other Afghan colleagues and compatriots, he added: “Since the beginning of the recent war, I have officially announced in a video that wherever the Islamic Republic of Iran asks us, we are ready to face America.”
The head of the Tebyan Center stated: “Last night, I gave another message on the occasion of the victory of the Islamic Republic against America and Israel, and I reiterated that we have such an idea and thought.”
Emphasizing the need to pay serious attention to the problems of the refugees, he said: The possibilities, capacity, outlook, thoughts, plans and programs of our refugee personalities should be used.
He continued: Every day a plan is adopted regarding the refugees, but our personalities, elites and people have no information and these plans are implemented without information, which is very dangerous and is not in the interest of the Islamic Republic system, the Afghan system or the Afghan people.
Hosseini Mazari added: Unfortunately, the capacity of the refugees is wasted for no reason, according to Iranians themselves, and if this capacity was in the possession of another country, how could they use it to attack Islam, so why shouldn't we use these capacities to strengthen religion and belief?!
He made a suggestion to the officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran and said: The current atmosphere is a very good atmosphere and in the interest of the system; even those who were cursing against the Islamic Republic until yesterday have now united and support you, and this atmosphere must be maintained. The head of the Tebyan Center emphasized: In such a situation, nothing should be done that would upset a large number of refugees.
He added: I don’t know who reports the situation of refugees to the authorities of the Islamic Republic and whether they are connected to the refugee body or not, but I see for myself how upset and dissatisfied the refugees are with the government’s policies on refugee affairs; this dissatisfaction exists within Iran and Afghanistan.
Hosseini Mazari continued: When we went to Europe, I didn’t see anyone who didn’t speak out against Iran on the issue of refugees; this dissatisfaction was such that no justification can be provided for it.
Referring to the services of the Islamic Republic to refugees, he said: The Islamic Republic has spent billions and has made great efforts in 40 years, has provided many services for refugees and also inside Afghanistan, has been with the Islamic Emirate during the jihad, the resistance, 20 years of the republic, and now, but unfortunately, this refugee capacity is not being properly utilized.
Hosseini Mazari said: “My other suggestion is that those who were born here, for example, are 20 or 25 years old, have married and now have children and even grandchildren, should be given citizenship.”
Pointing out that it is not right to expel these people and return them to Afghanistan, he added: “If they leave voluntarily, that is not a problem, but if they do not leave, my opinion is that one day even they will be expelled from Iran.”
The head of the Tebyan Center stated: “I am sure that in the current situation in Iran, those who have a letter of introduction will be expelled and after that, the holders of the Amaysh card will also be subject to deportation.” He added: The holders of the Amaysh card should be careful because the next plan may be for them and then it will be the turn of those who have residency.
Hosseini Mazari said: “This is my opinion, although I do not know what is going on behind the scenes, there has been no stability in Iran’s decision-making and immigration laws in the more than 40 years that I have seen.”
He continued: "My opinion is that this will happen in the future and everyone should be prepared to leave Iran."
Emphasizing that attention should be focused on Afghanistan, he said: "It is appropriate to grant citizenship to young people and children born here, whether boys or girls." Hosseini Mazari added: "After all, these are Iranians, not Afghans, and if they go to Afghanistan, they should go and live as Iranians."
Hosseini Mazari said: "My other suggestion to the Islamic Republic is that in order to prevent the migration of our Afghans, special attention should be paid to the situation inside Afghanistan." He pointed out that the same expenses that are spent in Iran should be better invested inside Afghanistan, adding: "This investment should be aimed at creating jobs in different dimensions and fields so that people there have work opportunities."
The head of the Tebyan Center said: "More than 90 percent of our immigrants who come from Afghanistan are so-called economic immigrants, and their main problem is unemployment." He continued: The Islamic Republic of Iran should both work in this field itself and encourage other allies, governments and countries that are like-minded with the Islamic Republic to invest inside Afghanistan and implement economic, cultural and social projects so that the people can have a decent economic life.
Hosseini Mazari added: My other suggestion regarding refugees is to the international community, especially the United Nations, because the United Nations and international community are very indifferent to the situation of our refugees. He said: Today, Afghanistan is exposed to the widespread return of refugees from Iran and Pakistan, while it is under severe sanctions from the United States and Western and Eastern countries, and this situation creates many problems inside Afghanistan.
Emphasizing the need for the UN to listen to the voice of the Afghan government, he added: The UN must support the Afghan government so that it can provide services to refugees returning from Pakistan and Iran, including providing shelter for those who are homeless and economic assistance to the needy.
The head of the Tebyan Center stated: Representatives of international organizations, especially the UN High Commissioner, should also be stationed at the borders of Iran and Pakistan to provide financial assistance and necessary facilities to the returnees.
He continued: Our refugees may return empty-handed, especially those who return from Pakistan in a much worse situation, and international organizations must perform their duties properly so that refugees and people inside Afghanistan face fewer problems.
Hosseini Mazari said: You must be aware that with the massive wave of returnees, house prices have increased inside and certainly food prices have also increased. Pointing out that there are many abusers of this situation and are taking advantage of the existing conditions, he added: Although the Afghan government has made great efforts to manage the return of refugees and has been successful in some cases, international organizations and the UN must pay serious attention and take effective action.
The head of the Tebyan Center stated: Unfortunately, the United Nations, like many other issues, has failed in this area.
He continued: We hope that the refugee problem will be solved, but there are other issues in the refugee discussion, and if there is an opportunity in the coming nights, we will talk about anti-immigration, the factors and contexts of its formation, the background to this issue, as well as Iranophobia and migratophobia.
Hosseini Mazari added: God willing, we will be at your service on these nights, dear ones, and we will try to benefit from these meetings to clarify public opinion.
Noting that one of the advantages of these meetings should be that we do not only discuss Ashura in 61 AH, he said: Yes, the story of Karbala is clear and should be raised, but this story should also be seen in today's conditions and the Ashura atmosphere should be created in the current conditions.
He continued: "We must work to explain public opinion in different areas and in today's conditions, and our people need enlightenment, guidance, information, and help in different areas." The head of the Tebyan Center added: "Speakers, preachers, and analytical figures should be active in this field and help the people."
