Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)-Mazar-e-Sharif: Hujjat-ul-Islam and Muslims Dr. Ali Naqi Mir Hosseini, author and head of the Rayhana-un-Nabi (PBUH) School in Balkh Province, said: The Islamic and humanistic thought of Imam Hussein (AS) with the message of awakening and awareness has no expiration date, and the Ashura movement is a formula for distinguishing right from wrong in any time and place.
He emphasized that the sacrifice and martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS) for the revival of the religion of Islam and the path of freedom shine like a bright star in the sky of humanity and shed light on the world, because the revolution of the master of martyrs was mixed with Islamic and humane guidance and values.
In another part of his speech, Dr. Mir Hosseini addressed anti-oppression from the perspective of the school of Imam Hussein (AS) and added: "Anti-oppression has a prelude, and without a plan and preparation, there is no possibility of success against oppression and the oppressor, because the prerequisite for anti-oppression in the current conditions of the world is scientific, industrial and other fields of progress."
He stated that Imam Hussein (AS) confronted the totality of disbelief, oppression, corruption and injustice with an extraordinary plan and created a lasting scene of the victory of blood over the sword. This divine plan is evident in his life and travels; therefore, it is necessary for the anti-oppression individual or movement to move purposefully and without slowness or haste.
He called methodicality, understanding of the conditions, progress at different levels, and purposefulness essential for anti-oppression and urged Muslims not to limit Imam Hussein (AS) to just crying and mourning, and to benefit greatly from this shining light of guidance that carries happiness and transcendence.
Also, Hojjatoleslam Walmuslimin Seyyed Hussein Shah, another religious scholar and expert on this discourse, said: Imam Sadiq (AS) said before God that his grandfather Imam Hussein (AS) gave his heart's blood to save humanity from misguidance and error. Hence, the message of Ashura for today's generation is a message of awakening and awareness so that the consciousness and passion of Hussein (AS) can be followed in the mourning gatherings.
He added that the warmth of Imam Hussein's (AS) love and affection will not cool in the hearts of believers until the Day of Judgment, according to the hadith of the Prophet (PBUH), and his movement has interconnected messages like beads of rosary that must be explained and followed.
Stating that Imam Hussein (AS) was an enemy-aware, Hojjat-ul-Islam Misbah said: Imam Hussein (AS) stood against the oppressive ruler by recognizing the noises, tools and goals of arrogance, and his plans are a lesson for us not to be content with considering America and Israel as enemies only, and we must be responsible, situation-aware, opportunistic and combative.
This religious scholar called on Muslims not to be deceived by the enemy’s wealth and power, and not to deviate from the path of truth, because money, a mandate, and the enemy’s massive army did not interfere with the determination of Imam Hussein (AS) and his companions.
He added that God introduced the Prophet (PBUH) in the Quran as a mercy for the worlds and belonging to all humans, and based on the prophetic hadiths, Imam Hussein (AS) inherited being a mercy for the worlds from his grandfather, the Messenger of Allah, and he is the Imam of all humans, because the welfare and salvation of man depends on following Imam Hussein (AS).
