Iranian Foreign Minister in conversation with EU foreign policy official: It was America that betrayed negotiations and diplomacy

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran: The Iranian Foreign Ministry announced: Seyyed Abbas Araqchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, spoke by phone today, Tuesday, with Ms. Kaya Kallas, EU foreign policy official. The focus of this conversation was the latest regional developments after the military aggression of the Zionist regime and the United States against Iran.

Araghchi added that Iran stopped its defensive operations by stopping the Zionist regime's aggression, and this action shows Iran's "good intentions." He stated that this clearly shows that, contrary to the "war-seeking Zionist entity," the Islamic Republic of Iran neither initiated the war nor has any desire to continue it.

 

Emphasizing Iran's "lack of trust in America," the Iranian Foreign Minister has stated that the military aggressions by the Zionist regime and the United States took place against Iran while the country was in the midst of negotiations and diplomacy, and "it was America that betrayed negotiations and diplomacy."
