Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Senator Allama Raja Nasser Abbas Jafari, head of the Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen party and member of the Pakistani Senate, said in his press conference today, referring to the threats of former US President Donald Trump: "The idiot Trump has threatened to kill our leader and religious authority; this is like someone threatening to kill the Pope."
He called Ayatollah Khamenei the religious leader, the authority to follow, and the political leader of Muslims, and emphasized that religion and politics are intertwined and inseparable.
The Pakistani senator added: “Our authorities have issued a fatwa that anyone who threatens the leader is an enemy, and the punishment for an enemy in Islam is death.”
Addressing Trump and Netanyahu, Jafari warned: “If an attack is carried out against Ayatollah Khamenei, it will not only be an attack on Iran, but all Muslims in the world will respond.”
He also stated that the people of Pakistan will not remain silent in the face of such actions, adding: “If such an action is taken, no American will remain in Pakistan.”
He continued: “When they do not adhere to any law, we will not remain silent either.”
Following the increase in tensions between the United States and Iran, various political and religious groups in Islamic countries, including Pakistan, have issued statements and strong reactions, expressing their support for Iran's religious leaders and emphasizing decisive responses to any threat.
