Israeli newspaper: Hamas continues to resist without signs of defeat

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: "Avi Issacharov", a Zionist writer in the newspaper Yedioth Aharonot, admitted that the change that Israel had been waiting for for a long time after Operation "Gideon's Chariots" has not materialized, and Hamas has not collapsed, and the people of Gaza are still "disinclined" to oppose it.

 

Issacharov, citing senior officers of the Israeli army, said that despite the widespread destruction and the razing of many neighborhoods, the military operation in the Gaza Strip has reached its peak.

 

He added that Hamas is still standing firm and stubborn, and without a final political solution, this war will not end, no matter how long it lasts or how intense it becomes.

 

The Zionist writer wrote in Yedioth Aharonot that the Shuja'iya neighborhood in Gaza, where an Israeli soldier was killed and eight others were wounded yesterday, has witnessed repeated Israeli army operations for the fifth or sixth time since October 7, for example, to destroy Hamas infrastructure, without leading to definitive results.

 

Issacharov concluded by stating that the Khan Yunis scenario is being repeated, with the Israeli army carrying out successive operations that result in the deaths of combat engineering soldiers, while repeated statements of "the destruction of Hamas" and "the group's imminent surrender" are made over and over again, without any of these things actually coming true.

 

The Zionist regime, which, in violation of the previous ceasefire agreement, tried to free its prisoners through ground operations, has encountered stubborn resistance from Palestinian fighters and has suffered heavy casualties during this time.

 

The Israeli Kan channel published details of Qatar's proposed plan for a ceasefire in Gaza and an exchange of Israeli prisoners on Tuesday. The channel, citing two diplomatic sources, reported that according to the proposal, a 60-day ceasefire should be established in Gaza, with eight Israeli prisoners to be released alive on the first day and two others on the fiftieth day of the ceasefire. According to these sources, following this agreement, the bodies of 18 Israeli prisoners will be handed over to the Zionists in three stages; in addition, the Israeli army will withdraw from the Morag axis and the process of sending humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip will be intensified.
