Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Mashhad: Jafar Seyedabadi, Director General of Foreign Nationals and Refugees Affairs of the Khorasan Razavi Governorate, said in a press conference today (Saturday, July 5) referring to the extensive measures of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the field of hosting refugees: In 1403 AH, with the central slogan of "Explaining the Islamic Republic of Iran's hosting model in the field of refugees and migrants," we tried to explain the forty-year services of the sacred system of the Islamic Republic to migrants to the Iranian nation, the migrant community, and even the global public opinion.
Seyedabadi added: Today, the issue of organizing and leaving the citizens from the Dogharoon border and Khorasan Razavi Province is one of our most important missions. The two active camps of Sefidsang Fariman and Hassanabad Shandiz are responsible for implementing the camp processes for citizens from 11 provinces of the country.
Referring to the implementation of the plan to determine the duties of the holders of census forms after the wave of immigration in 1400, he noted: Currently, people who were temporarily organized are going through the process of leaving the country by visiting the camps according to the schedule.
Referring to the temporary disruptions in the process of providing services after the recent 12-day war in the region, Seyedabadi stated: Despite the massive influx of refugees into the camps, especially Hassanabad Shandiz, which received up to 12,000 people daily, with the measures taken and the cooperation of the honorable governor and Dr. Shammardi, we were able to recreate capacities within 24 hours and resume services.
He continued: We took advantage of the capacities of jihadi groups, service institutions, and Astan Quds Razavi to provide drinking water, lighting, food, and other camp services. 5,000 loaves of bread, 5,000 breakfasts, and on special occasions such as the decade of Imamate and Wilayat, 30,000 hot meals were distributed. The refugees themselves have also cooperated with us and actively participated in the process of organizing.
Emphasizing the dignified view of the Islamic Republic of Iran towards the refugees, Seyed Abadi said: Our approach has always been and will be based on respecting and preserving the dignity of the refugees. Today, the necessary grounds have been provided for the voluntary and dignified return of the refugees. Many of the refugees themselves want to return to their country, and given the relative stability in Afghanistan, the motivation to return is increasing.
In conclusion, the Director General of Khorasan Razavi Nationalities Affairs expressed condolences during the mourning period of Tasua Hosseini and stated: We are trying to introduce a model of generous and humane hospitality to the world and to pursue and implement a dignified view for the return of the refugees.
