Ashura Night Mourning Ceremony Held with Imam Khamenei in attendance

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): In this ceremony, Hojjatoleslam Massoud Aali, in his speech, referred to the lesson of Imam Hussein’s (AS) uprising for perseverance and resistance against oppression, and called Islamic Iran the axis of the global resistance front led by the Guardian of the Muslims.

 

Referring to global Zionism as the main axis of the false front, he said: Based on the teachings of Ashura, the Iranian nation will never surrender to the false front; because it has taken the slogan “Heihat mina al-Zaleh” as its example.

 

Following the ceremony, Mahmoud Karimi, one of Iran’s prominent eulogists, recited poems and laments in mourning for Imam Abu Abdullah (AS) and his martyred companions.
